Curiosities
Name:
La Ragua is the name of our nearest mountain port, which leads to Sierra Nevada from the very Caves. It has 6696 feet height and works as a mountain station where cross-country skiing, hiking or mountain cycling can be practised.
Dedicated to:
This cave is dedicated to Rufina, another of Tío Tobas’ granddaughters, a direct descendant of the founder.
Story:
This hundred-year-old cave belonged to Tino, one of Tío Tobas’ shepherds, who helped him work the land and take care of the cattle. La Ragua, which has been restored completely, used to be the former poultry yard and sheep galleries.
Nowadays, it has been refurbished and restored to make it a rustic, charming place that attracts groups of families.
